Whyte Days and Orca Nights

While in Edmonton I couldn’t resist paying a visit to Whyte Avenue and the Old Strathcona area, one of Edmonton’s historic districts. Whyte Avenue features a plethora of cool shops (lots of vintage ones in which I indulged rather heavily) and restaurants and lovely architecture. I had a fantastic afternoon!

Later I did a little vogueing in the ludicrous whale hat I bought from the Vancouver Aquarium. Call me crazy but I think this hat totally works on me.

I don't have extensive knowledge of Edmonton (ok, I have none! You caught me!), but the city looks pretty from your photos. I really love the architecture of that building, and what a cool mural! I'd love to hear a little more about your hometown and see more street photos!

Aww, so jealous. I want to go vintage hunting and be surrounded by neat historic architecture! You're not crazy; I love that hat. I wanted one last night when Dan and I were at CityWalk (and I was freezing my ears off!).
