Swannish

I went to see Black Swan last week! I thought it was visually stunning but not as suspenseful as I had hoped (I wasn’t really surprised at all by the ending and had sort of figured from the get go that it would play out like that). But I did enjoy it. Anyway, here was my black swan inspired movie look (I kind of waffled on the shoes a bit).

skirt: Joe Fresh / shoes: Aldo / boots: Thom Brown / top: Gap

And this had nothing to do with anything but I’ve been thinking a lot about vacations lately and remembering the greatest one that I ever took – to lovely Edinburgh. Every since then I think about returning there at least once a week. Here’s why.

Lovin' the Black Swan look. :) Those aldo shoes are ridiculously cute btw.

We had originally booked a cruise on the Norwiegian Epic for April of this year, but now with the whole engagement thing we have cancelled it and are regrouping.

Have a great day!

Hot skirt! I love that it's a pretty feminine shape in such a sexy print.

I'm disappointed to hear that Black Swan is predictable. It has such potential.

And you might have introduced me to my new dream escape!

I saw "Black Swan" yesterday and loved it. Natalie Portman deserves an Oscar! I can't believe she did all of the dancing herself.

The dancing in Black Swan was amazing - and I agree that Natalie Portman (and Winona Ryder I think too) was incredible in it!

I had no idea Edinburgh was so gorgeous. Now I want to go there too. I do love castles, they're so european.

You're christmas tree is so pretty! I love the boots, even if they don't go with your black swan theme.

Happy New Year!

Hmm, definitely my feelings on that movie (not that I've seen it, but I have an idea of what will happen and how it will pan out in the end).

Lovely leopard coat!

I agreee I had rather high or should I say...different expectations from black swan....I though there would be more exploring of Nina's wild side...not really psychopath side. The only part in the movie that I really liked was the dance of the black swan. :)

But I love your outfit, now I am thinking maybe we should have done something like that. The skirt is gorgeous. :)

Look forward to hearing from you

Love this outfit. I'm going to see Black Swan tomorrow, and I can't wait! I'm seeing an early show, so I won't have the motivation to dress as stylish. I'm lucky if I make it out of my pajamas...
