English Market

Readers will know how much a I love visiting a certain auction house in Norwalk and browsing through their massive collection of vintage clothing and antique wares. Recently I found a microcosm of this magical place right here in New Haven. I give you English Market, a fabulous store filled with vintage and antique furniture, jewelry, clothes, and a whole array of other knick knacks. I’m in heaven.

And here are a few New Haven (I always think the town looks so pretty covered in snow) randoms to complete things.

I'm in heaven too!! If I had more space I'd have a vintage collection room in my house - oh the stories those clothes could tell!

Wow is that a vintage tin christmas tree in the first photo. The store looks really fascinating like your grandma's attic where you never know what you'll come across.

How cool! I'm putting this on my must visit list.
I'm sure there are a lot of great places in new haven I'm oblivious to, but shouldn't be given my proximity.
I always just seem to go to urban, and jcrew, and Barcelona (yum yum)
