Things Rip When You Break the Rules

I was pretty deflated last week when I pulled this dress out of my closet and realized it had a tear in it. It’s one of my favorites – I love the asymmetrical hemline and the pockets...technically I'm pretty sure it's actually a pool cover up but I like to make my own rules and have been wearing it as a dress. Suck it social convention.

Although I'm reasonably handy with minor repairs, this rip requires a sewing machine. So it's off to the tailor for this one. What a crappy way to start the day. You guys, I've got a lot of problems.

This dress is awesome, I love the pockets, and print. Hopefully the tailor will fix it, I hate when my favourite pieces rip! Worst!

I hate it when things get damaged, but at least this amazing dress is not beyond repair!

The print is lovely! No worries, a good tailor can remedy that in no time.:) /Madison

I think you and I have similar problems ;) Seriously, though, having to take things to the tailor really is annoying - but this dress looks like it's worth it.

That dress is adorable, way too cute to be a pool cover up. Good luck on the fix!

I completely agree with your make your own rules philosophy-- I am always looking to wear things in a way that works for me- not everyone else. It is a super cute dress so I hope they can repair it!
