The Knick

Have you guys ever heard of the new show called The Knick? If you haven’t, you should check it out. Not only is the subject matter fascinating (and not just for a history nerd like me), but it’s been getting rave reviews and one of the actors starring in the project is none other than a dude I'm lucky enough to know, Eric Johnson. Eric is a really close pal of one of my exes and a lot of my other close friends – he and I aren’t BFFs or anything like that but I get to see him from time to time when he’s in Edmonton to visit friends and family and he’s a really awesome and incredibly talented guy. I wish him nothing but luck with his new acting venture (and he’s had a pretty rad career to date). Anyways, he was in town recently and this is what I wore to go hang with him and some other friends.

leggings: ASOS / tank: H&M / jacket: H&M / sandals: Spring / purse: H&M / necklace: Aldo / glasses: Clearly Contacts

That bag is amazing! Slightly dangerous as it's big enough for me to cram a ton of crap in there and carry it around all day, haha. But I love it! (And very cool that you get to hang out with an actor!) XO, Sarah

I heard about the show and I watched the commercial for it and it looks very interesting. Now I will definitively have to check it out. Especially when the guy from Edmonton is in it. :)

I haven't heard of The Knick but I'll have to check it out - I love history based TV shows, I think we share that nerdy quality ;) And I also love your leggings. So perfect!

I have been wanting to see The Knick in FOREVER-- but I don't have cable because I'm lame! How cool that you know someone in it!

LOOOOVE the layering going on in this look-- the textures are great. And your hurr is getting long!

Sounds like a cool show combining everyones current obsession of medical dramas with period dramas - I'll have to check it out.

Love your quilted chevron jacket here, totally stealing the show!
