Transitioning Out of Maternity Wear

I loved this maternity dress from ASOS too much to simply stop wearing it once Eleanor arrived (and, in truth, until all the swelling, etc from my pregnancy fully went away, wearing a smattering of maternity clothes still made sense from a comfort standpoint – while I can now fit into most of my pre-pregnancy wardrobe again, plenty of items are now just too weirdly fitted for me to comfortably wear - basically the dimensions of my body have been permanently altered).

Ooh love that dress! Reminds me of one I have, except mine has a zipper going all the way down the front, haha

Well this dress certainly works pregnant or not and you can always style it with a belt whenever you're ready.

While this might theoretically have been intended as a maternity dress, and I'm sure it was comfortable during pregnancy, to me it just looks like a loose, comfortable dress that could be worn anytime - so I see no reason for you not to continue wearing it now. I doubt anyone will guess it's technically maternity wear!

This dress is amazing not just as a maternity dress. Love this piece with the gold jewellery!

Maternity or not, I love it! So roomy and utilitarian- it has a great casual vibe.
