Resting Dork Face

I wish I didn’t have such a dorky and unfortunate expression on my face (unfortunately that seems to be my baseline) because I really love this dress and every time I try to get decent photos in it they just never seem to work out.

It's funny, but years ago I realised it wasn't so much my face betraying me in photos, but my eyes. When you put sunglasses on to have your picture taken, suddenly no one can tell what kind of resting face you have - dorky, bitchy or otherwise. It's an amazing (and surprisingly easy) trick. Either way, this dress is lovely and definitely merited being photographed.

The sleeves on that dress are so nice and airy! I don't think you look dorky in this, haha. But then again I hate my face in pictures a lot too and other people say its fine

I don't think you look dorky at all! But I know what you mean- there are times when I'm reviewing photos from a shoot and am like, "GEEZ ASHLEY WHAT IS THAT FACE???" :)

I guess that is just a good reason to wear it again soon! The lace sleeves really are so pretty.
