All the Frills: It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Now that Eleanor is more or less mobile and into everything, I scaled back a bit on my Festivus décor, but it’s just not me to not do a measure of decorating. I’m weirdly not a big Christmas person (I find the holidays more stressful than anything else) but I am a fan of its decorations. This year I invested in a smaller tree (much smaller than my usual 7 foot one) and a new set of all plastic ornaments – it’s about as Eleanor-proof as I can get it.

Your holiday decor is lovely and tasteful. I have to say, every time I see your fireplace, I'm envious. It's the one character detail we don't have in our place that I absolutely wish we did - we have so much work to do before I can start adding things in that are actually necessary, but I would love to have a fireplace one day.

I love your holiday decor, and I'm impressed you traded all your ornaments for plastic ones. we usually just put our special ones at the top and kid friendly ones towards the bottom for when the kiddos are here.

I was intrigued by the paper towel article, but I felt like I wanted more information. Yes we have an obsession, but why isn't the rest of the world? Who wants endless laundry, especially with rags covered in raw meat, and in my case, pet accidents. With a 19 year old dog, we need to buy stock in paper towels, we are unfortunately cleaning up a lot of accidents.

It all looks so nice ! Beautifully done C.
My Christmas decor is very basic: tree, nativity scene, cookie jar and door.
I read that article on Anna Delvey and was totally shocked ! She got away with so much...
Happy holidays.
