When an Impulse Buy Works Out

I remain smitten with the pattern on this dress – it was an impulse buy to wear to a Thanksgiving dinner a couple of years ago (and normally I try really hard to avoid impulse buys) and I honestly didn’t think I’d wear it a lot because I’m not much for patterns, but it has become a staple for sure.

Yea, I try to avoid impulses too but sometimes they just work out nicely! Even if you only wear it a few times a year I think its a fun piece to keep around!

That is such a great floral print, I can see how it became a closet staple! Always good when an impulse buy works out instead of being a one hit wonder.

Isn't it the best when an impulse buy really works out? I recently impulse bought a pair of mules online that I'd seen on a blog, primarily because they were on super sale - and at $38, I didn't really care if I hated them. But they turned out to be 100% better than I imagined, and I know that much like you've wound up wearing this dress all the time, I'm going to enjoy them for a long time :)

That dress is gorgeous. Plus, love it with your coat too. I have a few impulse purchases in my closet as well, and funnily enough, they've become some of my favourite pieces!! xo

Sometimes my impulse purchases have really worked out, I bought two skirts in October at simons 10 minutes before a movie we were going to started, and I'm obsessed with both still! This dress is amazing and I love the fur on that coat, gorgeous!
