All the Frills: Salvation Bookshelves

Now that Eleanor is basically into everything, I’m so glad we switched all our low bookshelves over to high ones so that I can put my collection of nicer imprint books, a handful of which are legitimately valuable and are editions from the nineteenth-century, away from her grabby hands. Isn’t it great when an aesthetic investment turns out to have very real practical value? Now I just have to keep an eagle eye out for any attempts to climb the bookshelf...

I don't think I have ever been so envious of a book collection as I am of what you are keeping on your top shelves - so many beautiful editions of wonderful books!

I am envious of both your book collection and the book cases! I think keeping the important books up high is the best idea - my boys can be so tough on books, their favourites are very well worn now, haha!

Hope that you have been having a lovely weekend :)

So many gorgeous books! Where did you get those Lord of the Rings ones? The spines are amazing!

What a seriously amazing collection! And yes, so smart to keep those away from little E!
