Bye Bye Summer

Summer this year in my neck of the woods was a rather dismal affair with very few warm days and a lot of rainy and windy days. I’m not at all complaining about that though because, a) I really dislike summer and b) it means I didn’t have to wait until fall proper to wear my new poncho.

poncho: Nordstrom Rack / leggings: Old Navy / necklace: Stella and Dot / shoes: Aldo

Looove it! It's not too loose so you lose your figure but not super tight making it not a poncho, haha!

Love a good poncho- this gray color is the BEST. And yay for cool days- it's in the 60s here in KC today and I'm legit wearing a sweater and leather pants because I'm THAT ready for fall. ;)

We had an only slight better summer than you did, which for me was a major let down. I've been wearing sweaters for eight weeks, aside from when we were in Athens, and I admit that I am only just starting to feel a level of enthusiasm about that now. I don't do ponchos or capes much, but every time I see you wearing one, I feel like I need to change that - and this one is particularly good!

This summer was garbaaaaage. I request a redo! Hopefully this winter isn’t brutal, I don’t think I could handle that.
This poncho looks sooo cozy, perfect for the weather now

Such a cute poncho, I like that long statement necklace with it! :)

Aside from a few cold days we had a pretty mild winter, and now that it's spring we've had bushfires and summer temps. The weather is crazy! :(

Hope that your week is off to a good start. We had a picnic yesterday, taking advantage of the public holiday and great weather :) I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :) I've got a scarf giveaway on my blog right now too!

I definitely feel like there were too many rainy days this summer! Maybe if I had an awesome poncho to look forward to wearing...
