All the Frills: Work Shoes

Meet my absolute favourite new work shoe, from Old Navy. I ordered a pair in black recently and I could not be happier with them. They are comfortable, affordable, and look great with pretty much all my work outfits. This might best investment I’ve made in recent memory. Do you have a go-to work shoe?

My go-to work shoes are from J. Crew. They were never intended as a work shoe - I bought them in NYC in 2015 when our suitcases were waylaid for two days and I had only the sneakers I'd worn on the plane. At the time, they were pricey but I forged ahead, telling myself they were a classic. I never expected to get so much wear out of them, but turns out they are also super comfortable and practical. One of the best shoe investments I've ever made, really.

They look like such classic shoes, what a good buy! :)

I used to wear heels to work all the time but a knee injury means that I mostly wear flats now, Walnut Melbourne are my go to flats since Marc by Marc Jacobs was discontinued! :)

I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Hope that your week is off to a good start! We went to the Enchanted Gardens yesterday afternoon to see the Christmas lights which was beautiful :)

I love that style! I have a similar tan pair from Banana Republic and I wear them all the time!

I'd buy these shoes.
One of the last pairs I bought that I thought are amazing is a pair of nude patent heels. They are made in Mexico of a brand i never heard of: FLEXI however they have been the most steady and comfortable shoe from day one.
