Cold Shoulder

Usually I stay away from shoulder pads, but I couldn’t resist them in this dress from Zara – I just love the look (although I still plan to mostly avoid shoulder pads.
leggings: Simons / tunic: Zara / shoes: Spring / necklace: Aldo

Feature: This is amazing work to document a series of forgotten histories.

Haha I know what you mean about shoulder pads! But this feels different from a full on blazer or long sleeve wit hthem, just adds a nice bit of structure to the top!

I'm right there with you - there is nothing that ruins the prospect of a good blazer for me like shoulder pads. But I admit that t-shirts and dresses in this style, which seem to be popping up everywhere, do have a certain appeal. And you wear this one so well!

I can understand your dislike for shoulder pads but sometimes I love the sharp defined silhouette they help achieve. You look great by the way.

I've taken shoulder pads out of more than a few old blazers I've come across, but I agree, the strong shoulder works with this dress!
