Winter, Where Are You?

Ah, the simple joys of a relatively balmy (-8 degrees) winter day, when I can again manage to make a heavier fall jacket work for me.
pants: Old Navy / shirt: Dynamite / jacket: Winners / necklace: Stella and Dot / shoes: Aldo

Feature: Someone I know in my professional life wrote a really interesting piece about their experience in academia as a Black woman and the need to collect race-based data.

Love the print of that skirt!!! Winter hasn't really arrived here either, but I'm hoping it stays away for a while longer ;)

Love the green knit with this but I'm amazed at the temperatures - it's never gotten to negative temps here in Brisbane, I'd be so cold, haha! We never get snow either though!

Hope that you are having a lovely weekend! Another hot one here! Definitely far too hot for snow!

It's genuinely shocking to me how nice this winter has been so far. The temperature here climbed above zero yesterday - only by one degree, but still! It's not without it's challenges, of course. I nearly boiled to death at the grocery store this weekend because I had to keep the coat and boots I wore outside on the entire time I was inside. But still - I will absolutely take it without complaint, and I'm glad to see you're getting to enjoy it a bit, too :)
