Easing Into Fall

As summer starts to gradually turn into fall, the mornings have been chilly but the afternoons sunny and warm. Now that I’m actually leaving my house again and working in my office (where my five co-workers and I all sit in a giant room with cubicles, spaced out like 10 feet apart), this dress is a great way to navigate those daily temperature changes. It’s long-sleeved so a bit warmer for the cooler mornings but a lightweight material and still a dress, so nice for the hotter afternoons. Look at me, problem solving with my clothes and all…

Feature: I just finished Love in Color by Bolu Babalola and, wow, wow, wow.

That is a beautiful printed dress on you :) I like long sleeved dresses as they work in summer for sun coverage if they are a light material but you can wear them in spring and autumn too when it's a little cooler as well, just as you have with this dress :)

Hope your week is going well.

This dress is always so fun! Perfect for transitional weather.
My husband is still working at home (until at least January) so we'll see how that goes...

I love the chillier mornings (and evenings!) when it still get warms in the afternoons! Perfect for enjoying coffee outside in the a.m. and then drinks on a patio later. :)

Problem solving with my clothes. I don't know why that made me laugh so hard on this Wednesday morning, but it did. That said, this is the most aggravating time of year to dress for, and if you've found an outfit that works from morning to evening, that is no small feat!
