Heat Wave

We've experienced a series of horrific heat waves over the summer and it's been nearly intolerable on many days. As far as I’m concerned, anything over about +25 is a hellscape so I do not at all tolerate 31+ temperatures. That said, I stuck with my black clothes – my privileged ass has A/C at home and, seeing as how I’m still working from home, I was able to make the black keep working for me.

Haha, I don't mind those temps, but anything over 90/32 gets pretty bad. Although we don't have AC in the house (except the bedroom and a portable unit that my husband uses in the office) so i do get pretty hot in the living room. THAT is no fun

I can't wait for it to warm up to those spring like temps here! haha! We can get up to about 32 before we think about aircon but how much of a breeze there is determines that really. I think it's harder in colder countries as your houses are built for the the cold where ours are built for the heat so we don't feel it as badly!

I love the statement sleeves on your top too :)

Hope your week is off to a good start and you get a break from your heatwaves soon!

KC had a heat wave a few weeks ago (and probably another one on the way before August ends) and it was MISERABLE. I had to water my outdoor flowers 2x a day just to keep 'em alive, lol.

These sleeves are so fun! The right amount of poof!

Who says a heatwave means you have to give up black? As far as I'm concerned, that's the real reason air conditioning is so necessary - fashion ;)
