I recently got an email from my department with the list of classes in the fall term that need TAs – and I am so excited to soon be teaching again! It’s always a bit stressful and makes for an insanely busy term, but I really love the experience of teaching…and over the past year while I’ve been on a writing fellowship I’ve picked up some many great “teaching outfits” that I’m really looking forward to trying out. Like this printed frock from Ann Taylor (with pockets), which looks perfect as teaching attire when paired with a blazer or cardigan and a pair of flats.

I Absolutely Love this look! The sheer top over the dress is perfection.
I do love that Ann Taylor dress! I am often really grateful for all the teaching experience that I got as a grad student. Many times I think that a 3-3 load would have truly overwhelmed me otherwise.
LOVE this ModCloth shirt.....Chloe has something similar, shes actually wearing it out now:)
I love the shirt you threw on over top. It makes the entire thing! LOVE

Love the dress and how you took a bright frock and added the black top over it. Of course I love the combat boots and that cuff too!

I like the little extra texture of the sheer top. Teaching must keep you on your toes-literally and figuratively, no?
the dress is beautiful, I love the color ... its one of those things that when I see on a rack I would spot miles away just for the colors. The top is beautiful, love how you styled it.

I am still obsessed with your boots.
P.S. I thought everybody knew what a Schnuck's was! Mr. A informed that Schnuck's is only in this area. I had no idea. It's a grocery store - like a Dierberg's or a less cool version of Trader Joe's.
