Mall Walker

Hittin’ the mall for some window shopping. I like to keep things classy whilst I perambulate the Stamford mall … it makes me feel better about my choices in life.

pants: Target / shoes: Aldo / t-shirt: Gap / necklace: H&M / sunglasses: Target / purse: Old Navy / watch: MoMA

In other news, yesterday I felt the aftershocks/tremors of the earthquake that hit Virginia and the DC area. It was my second earthquake in 18 months … last February when I was living in LA I was awakened at 3 am by a full on, everything shaking earthquake. It was unsettling then and yesterday it was just odd when the library began shaking and I realized by chair was vibrating. Earthquakes are pretty low on my threat list in Connecticut.

Today I have a very exciting meeting with my adviser planned at 5 pm - I will be unveiling the finished dissertation (okay, not really unveiling because he's already seen most of it but I still plan to throw a flourish and a few "ta das" into it) and then discussing the stressful hell that is the academic job market. Wish me luck!

you look great! PS. So crazy that an earthquake would hit the east coast. I was in the big one back in '89 in California {used to live there}...it was SCARY!! Happy to hear that there wasn't really much damage yesterday.

This earthquake thing is so weird! People in my dorm felt it, but I was walking on the street so I guess I missed it. I feel a little left out!

Congrats on your dissertation!

Good Luck! sending you best thoughts today. I get so scare by earthquakes, I've been to many back home and hate them. Glad everyone seems to be OK.
I adore your necklace, it is beautiful plus looks great on you, I've tried many statement necklaces and I look funny but love them.
I visited the Craigslist ads that you mentioned and had a laugh with some. Thnaks, didn't know about that place.
Again, have a great & successful day.

First of all, Good Luck!

I love your outfit, you do such effortlessly fierce and comfortable looks. I especially love the ring (so cute), the purse, and that necklace.

I live in VA and was woken up by the Earthquake yesterday, it was an experience haha...

Discussing the stressful job market = No bueno
I wish you all the luck in the world!

P.S. I'm so glad that you are okay after the 'quake. I have been in one. I was in my car. I thought it was just the wind, but it was a bit more powerful than wind.
