A Well-Earned Cocktail

Don’t mind me, I’m just an enjoying a martini a few weeks ago when we triumphantly finished setting up our new Edmonton apartment and had some dear old Etown friends over for cocktails.

I'm also celebrating the fact that my book project is coming along very nicely - I even hope to have a completed draft out to publishers in early September. Add that to the fact that my helpmeet starts a great new job next week and I have a few interviews of my own lined up for some interesting non-academic jobs and it's starting to look like we've officially landed on our feet in our post-Yale and grad school lives. Hooray!

skirt: Sparkle and Fade via Urban Outfitters / shirt: Target / necklace: ModCloth

Hell yes to martinis!! I love this skirt, it's amazing, shiny and awesome! I'm glad to hear your books coming along nicely. I figured with being done school I'd be able to hit up the university area more often, but alas I am working a ton to save money for NY. Hopefully we will have a blogger gathering soon :)
