More of the series of photos from my last post. What I didn’t reveal last time was that I recently got my learner's license (go me)…and shortly after these photos I successfully drove the car for a grand total of 30 minutes on an icy highway (and it’s a standard so I also learned all about shifting gears).
Yeah, first you master the PhD, then you learn to do something everything else had mastered by the time they were 17. Seriously, go me!

Learning to drive stick is tough, especially in wintertime!! Kudos to you.
I love this blazer and that dress, such a great collar on it

Congrats and during such a wintery time as well. I love the blazer! :)
It's never too late to learn something new - personally, I think it' awesome you're learning to drive now, even if it's a bit late. I was scared enough when I was sixteen, I can't imagine learning when I was any older. I swear, I get more and more nervous about everything as I age :) Love your gray dress, especially the stud detail!

I'm sure you'll do fine...you'll be speeding down any road before you know it. That outfit screams that you're ready for the open road, Courtney!
Go Courtney!! Sounds like you picked the best time to start learning, since you'll already know how to handle the worst road conditions.

Congrats on the permit. Winter driving is the toughest, so just think of how easy it will be the rest of the year!
Congrats! I remember learning how to drive, it was the winter time and there was a ton of snow. But it was the best way to learn because if you can tackle winter roads in Edmonton, you can tackle anything!
I think I am in love
Ahh hooray!! I was one of my last friends to get a license as well. It was only at age 22 but everyone (and I mean everyone) else had had one for years and I was always on the bus.
Perfect outfit. you look great. Love it! the studded collar, and the blazer are gorgeous, everything looks awesome as an outfit.
Yes, go you!:) its not fun to drive, at least not in Miami, but anything that you learn in live is always good. Love your background. Have a happy week.
