The Repurposed Halloween Costume

I actually bought this dress to wear as part of my most recent Halloween costume but I love the fringe on the bottom so much that it’s found its way into my regular wardrobe. I combined it here with a cardigan with some lace bits on it but I plan to go full Stevie Nicks, witchy woman in this thing soon…I just need to figure out what else to pair it with to make that happen!

dress: Thrifted, Value Village, similar / cardigan: gift from my mother, similar / shoes: Nine West via Marshalls, similar

Yea, why not wear it normally! It's so fun! And the fringe makes it great for the holiday season :)

The fact that you repurposed this piece from a Halloween costume? Kind of amazing. Although in all honesty, I never would have known it wasn't meant to be born everyday. And that fringe detail is really too fabulous to be left in a closet.

I think that dress is just lovely and should definitely be able to be in the regular rotation and not just for halloween!
