Operatic

I wore this to the opera a couple of weeks ago with my dad – Richard Strauss’s Electra, inspired by the Oresteia of Sophocles and a favourite episode in Greek myth of mine (seriously, I dressed up as Clytemnestra for Halloween one year….it’s safe to say that I basically spent most of the night explaining my costume). Anyways, the thing I love about this outfit is how not pregnant I look in it! As you’ll be able to see in an upcoming outfit post, I have most definitely “popped” and so I sort of felt like I was hiding in plain sight in this outfit in terms of how well it camouflaged things.

I agree with you, you cannot tell you're pregnant.
Oh and I had been at that Halloween party you would have had to explain the costume to me too ;)

I must say, I have been very impressed by how not pregnant you've been looking so far in most of your photos! This outfit is especially good, though; I would never guess that you were expecting anything except, well, a night at the opera ;)

I love the idea of dressing up for an opera, and your necklace is so stunning and appropriate for the occasion.
