These photos were snapped when I think I had about 5 weeks to go in my pregnancy. They were also taken the week that I discovered I had developed something called a PUPPs rash – it was an early symptom of the cholestasis that eventually played a role in my need for en emergency C section but I won’t bore you with the details here (you can Google it if you want to see what nightmares are made of). It was incredibly aggravating and annoying, not to mention that it cut into your ability to sleep at a time when, just before you are about to put your body through the endurance test that is life with a newborn, you really need your sleep.
I swear I dropped about $400 that last month of pregnancy on every single cream and itch remedy conceivable trying to get this beast under control. I also spent a lot of time wandering about in very loose fitting clothing that promoted air circulation (like this dress – which I paired here with boots because my legs and feet were swollen and I needed to wear support stockings to help with circulation…yep, pregnancy is super glamourous).

Well, I will say you looked amazing even if you were feeling miserable! That sounds so annoying, itchy stuff is the WORSTTTTT

Well for what its worth I think you look smashingly beautiful !
One of my girlfriend's had PUPPs during her first pregnancy, and in her second, every time she had an itch, she was sure it had come back - it never did, but that clearly speaks to just how miserable the experience must be. I'm amazed you managed to get dressed at all while dealing with it, never mind so fashionably...!

I love this floral- I'm so sorry you were miserable here, though!
