I don’t wear this jacket all that much (mostly because it has no actual pockets and that annoys the bejesus out of me in a blazer) but I do enjoy busting it out from time to time. In this case it was to attend a once monthly evening meeting for work that I still enjoy coming to even if I am on maternity leave.

I really hate things that don't have pockets, but I really love the shoudlers on this jacket. So torn!

I have to get out my only blazer this coming week after years of neglect. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know if it has pockets! Since I'll be lugging my laptop bag with me, I won't need to worry too much about where to store my things, but it does seem odd that blazers should be made without pockets, because the style definitely predates giant bags of all kinds...

I hate it when things that should absolutely have pockets don't. An even worse offence is when they have fake pockets! I read an article about how a lack of pockets in women's clothing trickles down to keeping them from advancing the in workplace... heck, it was probably you who shared it...
But still, the spiked shoulders are pretty awesome.
The shoulder detail kind of makes it ok for this blazer to not have pockets because its fabulous. But I totally agree with you, WHY would you not have pockets on a blazer ?
I bought a men's jacket a few months ago and one of my fave things about it is that it has pockets in the inside too . So I don´t even have to carry a bag !
