Weekend Reading:
- Please read this opinion piece by the brilliant Jessi Klein. The last part made me weep.
- It makes me feel queasy to think about what some of these women endured.
- Is anyone surprised that female trial lawyers have to deal with rampant sexism?
- Thank God this trash’s appeal was denied.
- This is an incredibly forceful denunciation of Stephen Miller.

I love the idea of dressing like Steve Nicks. Unfortunately, I'm fairly certain that you're right about the reality of dressing like Stevie Nicks - not that practical. This fringed... cape? Shawl? I'm not sure... is lovely, but the Halloween costume box may still be the most logical place for me.
xox,

Aww that's a shame! Although now you can just be Stevie for a Halloween party, haha. ;)

That is such a beautiful kimono - what a shame it's a pain to wear. I love kimonos, but I don't have any fringed ones. I can imagine it might be a feature that gets in the way a bit!
I hope that you are having a lovely weekend :) We went to a strawberry farm yesterday with the boys which was so fun :)
Away From The Blue Blog
I love your kimono and could see it working so well with a simple black cotton body-con midi dress + some booties and an oversized tote bag. I say don't give up on this lovely number quite yet. Plus, happy long weekend babe!! xo

Unfortunately stevie nicks often looks like she's dressed for halloween, so it's really a tough look to pull off. But hopefully you can keep searching and find the key to getting from halloween to daily wear.
Also, that essay was very beautiful.
Chic on the Cheap
Well, you tried ! You can also use it on a night stand or over a lamp.
It's too bad that this kimono didn't work out, it's very pretty. Yay for halloween boxes!
Yeah not surprised by the sexism female lawyers have to put up with, one of my clients is an ER doctor and that amount of shit she has to put up with. UGH.
