I love the way this velvet blazer looks when the sunlight hits it – it just sort of twinkles and sparkles and the green seems to take on many different hues. I need to remember to get it out of my closet a bit more.

Oh what a marvelous velvet piece to own.
Just yesterday I was going through my blazers and came across a purple one and am now wondering if its too short...
I think I've said this before, but I have a hard time considering wearing velvet now - I had one too many bodysuits made of the fabric during my competitive gymnastics days and it always takes me back to that. That said, there is something about velvet as a fabric that, in the right context, can be just so lovely. The shades of green in this blazer when the light hits it are magical.

Velvet is one of my favorite fabrics- it's so fun to wear. I have a few velvet blazers and they are always in the heavy rotation.
