oh I love these video blogs, you are adorable! pretty sure bumble and bumble is sold in Canada. I know this from when I gots my hair did at a fancypants salon in my future home Vancouver. te
I love a good product review. It sucks spending money on a new hair product only to find that it is completely wrong for you. Alas we have complete opposite hair types. Volume, Curls, Frizz, Oh my! Keep up the video blogs though. It's a nice change of pace from my other blog reads today.
Sounds like you have a good handle on your hair. I might add to get more volume you could flip your head upside down when you blow dry. but i think you do that already, or you used to. another product that is newer and adds volume are hair powder product. aveda makes one, but it is pretty pricey. and now there are other companies that put one out. essentially, they remove excess oils from the scalp and help to create volume this way. lift up a section and put underneith, especially with dark hair. apply through out the scalp and the rough up the scalp with your fingers and voila instant volume. less is more with these products. i have also heard baby powder does the same thing. or similar. on that note, the baby powder is really good at sucking up oil on the scalp, if you cant wash your hair that day and need to go out in public. one more thing for volume is some layers in your cut, but because your hair is fine, its a tricky thing because it will remove volume and hair from the bottom and then it can look stringy so use with caution.
I've heard the same thing about baby powder (corn starch too) but I'm scared to try it because my hair is so dark that I feel like it might look like I have have horrible dandruff. Actually, speaking of layers, I recently got a haircut and was butchered! The stylist I visited (not my regular but I was desperate) did a bob with no layering pieces at all and the bottom is now super chunky and unruly and the top is totally flat. Think Lady Gaga on the cover of the Fame Monster! It's so bad that I had to make an emergency appointment the day before I leave to get it fixed.

It's not totally a vegan product though - which is unfortunate. But it is cruelty free and works great.
