I think that you were so right in treating yourself to some "post presentational, recuperational shopping". And taking fashion risks is a good idea at times... I can't really recall my last "stretches of the sartorial envelope". Maybe mixing different prints - something I really want to do, but had so well learned not to do back in the times when it was totally out.
i haven't tried this.. i normally go to the salon for a full leg wax, but i would occasionally use the nair wax strips for emergency next day events.. those work for me. :)

I've tried these and like them, but much prefer epilating to wax strips!

It's weird how some products work for people and then just not at all for others -- I mean, I seriously had the worst time with these things.

I had some freaky experiences too with Veet. Some strips worked well and some didn't :(
