Harrods

Recently I had a fun filled afternoon of browsing around Harrod’s and wandering the streets of London. Harrod’s is such a mind blowing experience and I loved being in the store and taking it all in. Really breathtaking!

I leave for New Haven soon but I’ll probably be doing England related posts for a while – I’ve had a fantastic trip but now it’s time to start the writing process and get this dissertation done (she boldly says with a foolishly elevated confidence level). I was also recently included in a roundup of back to school looks on the fantastic blog Fashionable Academics – so check out all the looks featured there for fall teaching and studying inspiration.

Looks so fun! I love that they have a memorial for animals that died in war! I am a crazy animal lover so this makes me so happy!

I was pretty excited to see it for the same reason - it was moving and sad and people had been placing fresh flower and wreathes on it as well.

First of all all the best for the dissertation and all the needed motivation :)
Harrods is sooo impressive, right... well the whole city of London is. Enjoy your time there

Long live Harrods! I recall it as 'selling anything from a button to an elephant' or something along those lines

Goodness, Harrods certainly does look like quite the experience. And, good luck buckling down with the dissertation!
