I was just there a couple of months ago! I liked the museum but my mum and I were actually a bit disappointed by the size... it sounds like they have endless archives but not enough space to display much of it. I think it was just because we'd heard about it in Australia, and so when we went to london we planned a special trip to Bath to go to the fashion museum - we may have built our expectations up too much! but luckily Bath is lovely and we had a great weekend there. and you're right, the gift shop is great.
I'm sick, I could shop anywhere, but museum gift shops always get me. I usually end up with something totally useless, but this bracelet was such a good buy, it's really cute and I'm sure it will be infinitely more useful than my Kandinsky paint by number set I got at the last museum I visited...
