Won't You Come To My Tea Party?

Fall finally feels like it has arrived but last week, during the humidity, I decided to embrace the heat and give summer one last hurrah. I figured the best way to do that was an impromptu backyard tea party and a ruffled blouse from Forever 21, capris from Ann Taylor, a gold pendant from ModCloth, sandals from Chinese Laundry, a cardigan from Zara, and my staple academic tote bag.

In other news, I came across this interesting article about the future of fashion shows and wanted to share.

Interesting article, I had heard about this show. I'm not convinced though - you only have to think of the difference between a movie and a live stage play to understand that a film will never capture the true movement of a piece of clothing... not to mention the danger of a designer being able to 'edit out' any non-flattering issues.

I always mean to do more entertaining at my apartment. I wish I hadn't missed the boat on throwing a tea party for my girlfriends. And I love that you wore the leopard cardigan rather than wear something prim and proper.
