Artistic Sensibilities

While in Edmonton I paid a visit to the brand new (and beautifully designed) Alberta Gallery of Art (they just redesigned the whole thing and made it into a world class exhibition space). The gallery, in addition to their regular collections, was featuring a Matisse exhibition and I spent an amazing afternoon wandering through the various galleries and delighting in the architectural whimsy of the space.

Jacket: H&M, scarf: NYC street vendor, shoes: F21

I also think I may still be under the influence of that bizarre performance art piece (the one with the Barbie dolls) I attended a month or so ago because this was my artistic inspiration for the day. All images from my weheartit archive.

Aaaah back in the Canadaland I see? Exciting! I saw a feature on this building on Fashion Television and loved it...the architecture is stunning! I've never been west of Ontario, though!

And as for your comment, I love both but am partial to the two Timer wedge. despite being short, I hate wearing heels so the comfort of wedges are the closest I can get to wearing flats while adding a little bit of height!
