Get Ready For A Deluge of Photos

This may have been the greatest Halloween of my life! This year Halloween coincided with my trip back to Edmonton, Canada to visit family and friends and, wanting to take full advantage of the situation, my helpmeet and I, along with my BFF and her awesome helpmeet, got cheap plane tickets to Vancouver, British Columbia, and jetted off there for five days. My BFF and I are the world’s biggest Halloweenies so, in typical fashion, we went all out. While in Van we were also able to spend a ton of time with another very dear friend of ours who recently relocated there from Edmonton and we all hit the town together for All Hallows. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening.

My costume. Fun fact: the white in my hair is Tresemme dry shampoo, I just sprayed it on erratically and then didn't brush it in. As dry shampoo it kind of sucks but it works great for adding novelty white streaks to hair.

Then, the next night, which was actually Halloween, we ventured out to the Pacific National Exhibition, which is an amusement park that, over Halloween, turns into something called Fright Nights and is filled with spooky rides, haunted houses, and creepily costumed park employees running around and giving everyone a good fright. Despite being rainy and kind of cold the whole time (and being hung over and having bellies full of Mexican food), we had an amazing time – although some of the rides made us all feel a tad barfy.
