Birds of a Feather

Some more of my Edmonton shopping scores: necklace and purse from Groove Stone

For anyone battling the work week blahs today, I give you rich hair colors not made by nature! This makes me yearn for the days when I was a teenager and drove my mother bananas by coloring my hair green and then purple and then fire engine red – shortly thereafter I started my love affair with black hair dye which has continued to this day (much to my poor mother’s lasting chagrin because I’m naturally a blonde…seriously).

Finally, because I ADORE Maleficent, here’s a super cool set of tips of dressing like her from College Fashion. I’m very happy to say that this actually totally looks like my wardrobe – so all this time I’ve been co-opting her style. Things are suddenly making a lot of sense to me.

Last, but certainly not least, the lovely Marie at Marie a la Mode has tagged me to answer a few questions about myself in a post (and tag a few others) so check back tomorrow for what I am sure will be a riveting and revealing glimpse into my inner madness. It's alright, don't be scared.

Don’t forget to enter my Festivus giveaway!

Blonde, eh?! LOVE IT! :)

Hair colors are fun, I am thinking of putting some red lowlights in with my blonde hair this weekend actually..

Hope your work day goes by fast, mine is insanely slow as of right now!

I'm so surprised to find out you're a natural blonde! I never would have guessed that. You've certainly been very daring with your hair choices, why did you settle on black?

i've dyed my hair every few weeks since being 17. BUT I've never done anything "wild." just your typical blond, brown, black, auburn, white, etc. the colors look so cool!

I've always wanted to add some bright colors to my hair but the closest I've ever come is accidently dying it orange instead of 'golden brown' lol

surprised you're a blonde, thought your hair was naturally dark! :P
I once sported bright red and slighty fuchsia hair extensions...yes my parents "loved me", especially my dad who was a tad embarassed by it all. But I didn't care, I had spent 5 hours in the hair salon to do so and loved the three months of fun I had with somebody else's hair :P

you should totally go white/platinum blond like in that one picture! I've got that on my wishlist too. I've had red hair for a while, and while it grew out I had ombre hair (way before it got hip, ha!) but now I've had my natural hair for ages and I totally want to change it up again but I'm chicken shit about what it'll do to my hair :D
