I Wish I Could Live in Leopard Print

While in Edmonton I picked up this awesome leopard print skirt at Joe Fresh (for next to nothing I might add). It has pockets and I love the full shape of it. Then I made a life choice and chopped off my hair (again). Then I went to a magical place called Shoe Warehouse and picked up these funky electric blue wedges (regular $120 but I got em’ for $30). I want to live at Shoe Warehouse. And I am very sad that there are no Joe Fresh stores in the US. Boo.

Tips for Wearing a Full Skirt:

Play against the volume of the skirt by keeping proportions in check on the top and opting for a form fitting shirt

To avoid being over dressed, go for a top that’s made of a more casual material (like a knit or basic cotton)

To likewise avoid being overly formal (especially if you’re wearing it to work or for a casual social engagement), pair it with flats or boots (let’s be honest, it will also be more comfortable than wearing towering heels all day)

I love the wild animal print.

Wow, those shoes are all kinds of awesome! Your hair looks especially good in these pictures. I long for a cute shaggy bob, but every time I try (every 3 years or so ...), it ends up being a terrible hot mess. Scratch the hot, actually.

I had to write a xmas list for my family (sort of a tradition, as they seem to have no original ideas ha!) and all i wrote was leopard print anything. I'm obsessed, although I don't do the "double-leopard" but now I'm coveting a skirt like the one you're wearing :)

The whole look just works incredibly well, hair too. But I am in love with the shoes, I just bought a very similar pair of black leather ones at Winners, also a score.
