Now that I have my blog redesign more or less finished and my dissertation is well underway, I'm ready for the brilliant lights of the holiday season, the cold snaps, and the occasionally dull and dreary day.

More Redesign
As you can see, the grand blog redesign of 2010 is now complete! Thanks to Shari over at Little Blue Deer (and her amazing design aesthetic), I now have this fabulous new header. I couldn't be more thrilled with how wonderful it turned out. And because I now have this gorgeous new image as the masthead of my blog, I am retiring my old blog header (which I received many compliments on over the years - it's a photo of a department store window display in NYC all decked out for Christmas which, incidentally, is also what the middle image on the new header is of, so I've got continuity going for me too).

No. No, there isn't.
I like the new header! I loved the chaotic old one though, I'll miss it :D I always loved looking at it and all the different components of the image.
