In the Red
I got this Nicole Millers dress at JC Penney a while ago and have always found it sort of difficult to style (not really sure why, I always just felt a little off in it even though I got lots of compliments on it) but I think I solved it: tights, boots, a cardigan, and a statement watch from the Museum of Modern Art. I think it all adds up to a good teaching outfit and is perfect for hitting up a colloquium or having a meeting with my adviser.

Great dress! I really need to take a trip down to Buffalo to hit up JC Penney. And I thought I was the only one kitschy enough to buy the jewelry from the MoMA gift shop! I guess great minds think alike, haha.
