Purple and Blue All Over

The inspiration for this outfit was blues and purples – colors that I love and seem to own a lot of pieces in but that I rarely wear together, so one day I decided to layer them on. Hey, in for a penny, in for a pound right?

Top: Ann Taylor / shoes: Shoe Warehouse / jeans: thrifted / cuff: Victoria and Albert Museum / cardigan: F21

The grayness of winter (not to mention the multiple feet of snow that got dumped on us last night...I'm not entirely sure if I can even walk to campus today) also has me yearning for some flirty frocks to banish the mid-winter doldrums. But I will not shop, I will not shop!
