Read My Sequins

Let’s consider this another exercise in dressing down sequins – pairing a subtly sequined tank with jeans, a camel boyfriend cardigan, and a sporty watch. You also get a healthy dose of photographer thumb on the left (you’re welcome) and a peak at the cute little key necklace that my helpmeet slipped in my Christmas stocking.

Many readers comment on my book shelves (I’m a total bibliophile) and since it seems like people really value the idea of an extensive home library, here are some book filled spaces that I’ve been crushing on.

All of the bookcases are amazing, that last one is pretty cool I must say!

And your key necklace is gorgeous.

Great outfit! Camel always seems to be one of the best ways to tone anything down. It did your top (which I love, by the way) justice!

Also, that third last photo is to die for. It's my goal to buy a whackload of National Geographic magazines this summer and make some sort of display out of them. They always stand out so well!

I love your necklace! It's really pretty and I like the pile of keys vs. one single.

Now about those books - that is like heaven!!

How did the dissertation go??

You may be a bibliophile, but are you a bibliophibian? :)

That necklace is so adorable, and I love how it stands out amidst the sea of sparkles behind it.

I Love these pics. I have a bookshelf that is a replica of King Tut's Sarcophagus. It doesn't fit many books though lol. I Love how you dressed down the sequins. I Love the camel colored cardi with the black sequin top.

I lust after libraries like this. The comfy chair in the first pic is my favourite, but that image of the tumbledown library with trees in the middle is amazing! I am saving this post to my faves x

I love the first second and the fifth one. I am a huge bibliophile but now that we have to move pretty often and we don't have a car I depend mostly on Toronto public library. But once I get our own home, I'll slowly start building a nice little library. Give me a good book and some snack...or even no snacks....I am the happiest girl alive.

Look forward to hearing from you

Holy crap! Some of these libraries are INCREDIBLE! I'm a total book junkie - they're currently stashed under my bed, in my closet, even in my desk drawers. I've run out of roooom!

Love your watch! So cool.

Next two things to add to my wishlist: a sparkly tee for day and a tree in my library!

Annebeth said...

great job at dressing down the sequins! love your watch :) and yes, libraries are amazing!

First, I love dressed down sequins. Second, these images of bookshelves remind me of when my family moved into a new house with tons of bookshelves. My parents don't read a ton, but they wanted the look that we did, so they ended up going to a $1 book store and buying the most random books just to get the look.
