I love your blouse and love the fact that is red. Want to wear a tiara on top of my air-dry hair ..... maybe for summer. I know they were in style last year but this is one of those styles that is worth keeping longer. great pictures, love the 4th one from bottom to top.
I Love your outfit ! It is Smart Chic. I used to Love Courtney Love's music. I still have her CD somewhere. It is good stuff. These pictures are Beautiful. Marilyn Monroe was the most Beautiful woman Ever !
@ Marie a la Mode - C Love does indeed usually look trashy but I love that it's unambiguous and intentional, say what you want about the lady but she's a weirdo and knows it and has exceptionally visible displays of agency and then some!
LOVIN! the red and black. And that vest fits you so well! Tiaras are pretty and sparkly. They make me feel lovely. I wore a tiny tiara for my wedding, but that was it. I must feel pretty again. I must get a tiara!
Oh my goodness, so MANY amazing tiara's, beautiful! Love your H&M vest + blouse, you look great!
I am a huge fan of H&M and LOVE to shop! I stopped for a few months, because my closet was turning into an H&M shrine. Going back this weekend though. ;-) xx veronika
what a fun post, so neat that you're bringing attention to a piece that doesn't get much attention! :) they're all sooo gorgeous. and I love your book prop! ha-larious ;)
I hope you're not getting sick!! Get your tiara on and get in bed.
on the cat front: um, there were three of them and within seconds i had named them: squeaker, samson and boss lady. perhaps we are cousins? i make up my own names for the neighborhood cats and proceed to call them my names in front of their puzzled owners. yes. it's an issue.
Oooh I love these iconic tiara shots! Especially the Marilyn one b/c it always makes me laugh. In the movie, her character doesn't know what a tiara is and accidentally puts it around her neck at first, hehe. :P
And your black vest is ADORABLE with that red shirt. xoxo
I'm kind of obsessed with the fact that you collect tiaras. I think its SO cool. I actually collect fairy wings because I thought I looked stupid in tiaras. ps-those red shoes. OMG. PERFECTIIION.
Thanks for you comment on that stressful post of mine, I called Macy's and I had a very long chat with security about the problem. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
OK, I'm getting convinced re: the loveliness and collectableness of tiaras. And I love a good library fashion-photo shoot. Especially when the fashions involve such expert use of black. And even more especially when the man who wrote The Faerie Queene is invoked.
Hello Courtney! Thanks so much for your sweet comments + follow. As for your question? I am in Vancouver, BC! Yay, for Canadian bloggers. ;-) xx veronika

The vest over the plaid looks very smart. And I'd love to wear a tiara if I could find one like Natalie wore in Black Swan
