Alexander McQueen Retrospective

My birthday is coming up soon and, in addition to the usual obscene amount of drinking and eating that I plan to engage with close friends and my helpmeet, I am also planning a little day trip to New York City (am I ever gonna miss living less than hours away from NYC!). You see, starting on May 4, the always amazing MET is hosting a retrospective on the career of Alexander McQueen. And I could not be more excited!

Happy Birthday! I'm an April baby too (unless you are like tomorrow, then I'm not a March baby...)

Anyway, love Alexander McQueen! That black lace over the nude dress is FANTASTIC!!! A real dream. And those red and black feathers are amazing!

Wow! Wow! WOW!

Damn my silly government for having elections in April so I can't combine voting at my consulate with this exhibit. Maybe I will have to go in for this anyway - special!!! And visit one of the famous NYC button or yarn stores, too...

April is THE month to be hatched in, I would say.

Hope you have a happy birthday doll! I use to love Alexander McQueen, I would never wear it or want it but I loved how outside of the box it is. In the past few years I just kind of starting disliking it greatly not sure why.
