White Out
People who read this blog will recognize that I do not often (okay, hardly ever) wear white. And, to be honest, I’m still undecided – although I’m totally sold on the coral lipstick that I also decided to try (I’m a big proponent of the “try everything once” idea).

I think this outfit is great on you- the dress looks like a cream which is great with your skin tone and I am also loving the coral lip colour trend! I'm so pale that white isn't always the best choice but I do like wearing it occasionally on warm days.
White is becoming on you with your complexion and dark hair. I dig the coral lips and the stockings, too.
DANG Courtney, if you are having issues with this dress you can happily pass it my way. I love it! Plus you paired it with all black, in spring, you rebel you! Yeah okay I get it, white can be messy, but it's one of my most favorite colors to dress in regardless. I think it can be really dramatic.
the white does wonders for your skin tone - you just look so much brighter -- you must embrace it!
I Love coral lips as well - at first i was worried about the orange undertones, but it's truly become my fave.

I like the white on you. I don't wear a lot of white, since I tend to get it dirty too easily.
You look great in non-black! lol You look great in black, too but this is a nice change. It's fun to switch things up once in awhile ; )
Looks good! I too never wear white. Super paranoid I will sit on something or spill something on myself and ruin my outfit..

my exact thought when I saw the post was titled "white out" was "does she even wear white?!" awww, it's good to get out of our comfort zones, but white is pretty precarious. I always dirty up anything white I wear, but maybe you're not such a pigpen like me. it's a cute change on you and I love the lipstick. even if you decide against any more white... the lipstick should definitely be welcomed back into the rotation every now and again :)

I tried wearing red skirt (colored bottom) and i got very positive reinforcement - to wear color more often (bottoms esp.)

The dress is beautiful on you. Though it looks a little on the cream side. With that lipstick, this is a very positive outcome indeed.
I have just given myself a new hairstyle, and am trying solid colors. Something i haven't done before. And the good bit is that everyone seems to like the change.

you're right; you don't wear white that often! in fact, i can only recall seeing you in white once... in your wedding dress haha. anyway, you look LOVELY in it, and i like the bright lipstick, too! i've been trying more animal prints lately than i used to, and i'm happy with the last two pieces i've bought.

i think all white is hard for many people to wear. this dress looks like it has a tinge of peach and goes well with the coral lips. i think it looks great, especially paired with the blazer and dark socks. i have the hardest time wearing red, but a couple posts ago i tried an ALL red dress...scary!

I like it on you - especially with temps warming up you are totally good to go and I could see you with your leather jacket over top, too. Keep!!
One thing I haven't done is color blocking. It screams 80's and I'm scared of it a little.
