Essex

As I mentioned, I’m the process of moving right now and so I don’t have much in the way of outfit posts to showcase so I’ll leave you with this. I recently took a trip to Essex with some friends to have dinner at the historic Griswold in (and, for my Connecticut readers, I highly recommend it. Go on Mondays because that’s sea shanty night and, come 8 pm, you will be treated to people dressed up like they’re on their way to a Renaissance Faire belting out Irish sea shanties). Before dinner we spent some time strolling around town and I snapped a few photos. Tomorrow I will share the ones of scenic Essex and my dinner ensemble but today I wanted to show you some of the humorous local signs that made me giggle. Look carefully!

These all look like awesometastic places to visit! I am really curious about the Peddler because we all know that I am one with exceptional taste... in cards, it seems, because that "love the cock" card got me squealing in delight.
