Fascinating Fascinators

In all fairness, I don’t think I will ever wear this. It was sort of a joke gift from someone and reminded me of a junior, perhaps tamer, version of all those fabulous fascinators that were recently showcased at the royal wedding. So of course I just had to snap a few glam shots before I stowed it away.

Is anyone else as obsessed with fascinators as I am?

I have to say, I would want one for myself, but I don't think I'd ever wear it outside of the house... Maybe outside of the US, but yeah.

I am they just look so ridiculous on me. yours its actually very cute, everytime I see them on someone else I want them, then I go try them on me and feel like "nooo, not for me" but must admit that its an interesting trend.

There was a time when I definitely wanted one, but I don't think my head is made for something so extreme ;)

I think the headband is lovely. It is a piece that has to be worn in the right place though...very tricky. Like a garden party or something...

I also love these headbands below. I don't think I could pull any of them off though. Lol.

I think it's cute! You shouldn't stow it away, you should wear it! I loved Kate's Canadian-inspired fascinator she wore on Canada Day in Ottawa, I thought it was so cute.

I like your headband. I like fascinators, but don't actually own any.

I would love to wear one, but I'm just unsure about pulling off this look...unsure about how it would look on me. Love the one you are wearing, simple yet so elegant :)

This reminds me of the flowery, feathery headband that I bought two years ago for the Lady Gaga concert because it reminded me of her epic hair bow.

This is a pretty, wearable piece. Not too out there but enough to create an impression.

with the right look and the right attitude, you can totally pull one off. Maybe you should give it a shot before you pack it away.

I adore fascinators but it's a pretty recent development for me so I don't yet own one. I'd say in the last few weeks I've been shopping around for one. I might as well since the hair pieces I'm buying (clips etc) are getting more and more extravagant so taking the plunge seems like the next step.

I think you look seriously cute in that one, with the lace dress to match. You should wear it!

Also, the egg nest one is frankly splendid.

One advantage to living in Oz is that they're pretty well accepted and lots of high teas and brunches justify donning one. Yours is delightful! I'd brave it! You could pull it off!!

I have to say I can get wound by a fascinator, but don't think I could pull one off. I think you should wear that one you got to a drinking party. A celebration of buh-bye dingbat landlord!
