Orange Crush

Orange Crush

When deciding a shade of orange to wear in garments, pay attention to your skin tone. If you are naturally pale then orange can really wash you out so opt for a shade that’s more muted and soft. For olive and darker skin, pick warmer and more vibrant/deeper shades. Remember as well that a touch of bronzer can also go along way to really making your orange pop.

If you’re nervous about orange, try incorporating it into your wardrobe on small doses – accessories like purses, shoes, and jewelry can help you add a dash of orange without being overpowered by it.

Likewise, a orange tinged eye shadow, nail polish, or lipstick/gloss can be a non-threatening way to add a like mango madness into your look.

Pick other colors to pair with your orange carefully – for example, head to toe orange may be a bad idea and you also want to avoid an excess of black and orange (unless you want to look like the president of the Halloween fan club. I don’t know, I don’t know your life).

Orange and Coral

Here are a few of my favorite orange pieces.

Zara Full Skirt

Zara Colored Trousers

Asos Sleeveless Pin Tuck Shirt

Asos Basic Roll Sleeve Boyfriend Tee

Zara High Heeled Pointed Court Shoe

Gap Skinny Patent Belt

I love vibrant, bright, look at me, attention grabbing orange. However, I am sad to say that I am a very fair skinned girl. I would love to be able to pull off one of those two dresses in your first collage.

Great advice on how to wear the colour - the bronzer tip never crossed my mind! I've definitely been lusting over orange pieces lately. It seems like I'm starting to abandon my black and gray wardrobe ways!
