Get Your Fancy On

I think it’s time I started thinking about back to school shopping. You know, so that I can look stylish and authoritative while teaching undergrads all about ancient Greece. Yeah, it’s time for a shopping trip.

Shopbop Ami dans la Rue Cardigan

Nasty Gal Split Tie Blouse

Nasty Gal Dolce Vita Paloma Wedge Boot

Nasty Gal Chiffon Back Blazer

Shopbop Rachel Roy Swing Skirt

Also, here are some shots (almost to the end here people) of what I wore to the Flights of Fancy event and during the afternoon before the event when it was ridiculously humid. These shots are also from the two days before my drastic hair cut and after being out in the horrid humidity all day I was thrilled to lose all the length.

dress: Rock Steady / purse: H&M / ring: House of Harlow

pants: Target / tank: F21 / shoes: Target / blazer: thrifted, no label / brooch: Aldo / watch: La Mer / ring: House of Harlow

Snazzy back to school choices, I especially love the stripe cardigan and that skirt, what a beautiful blue.

I love that dress with the sparrows? Look like sparrows to me. I've had my eye on a similar one. Also, I really need a blazer, it is something my wardrobe is definitely lacking.

I'd love to have you as a teacher ... who doesn't appreciate stylish teachers? I can even forget about the authoritative part if they are stylish :)
I was going to stay away from online "browsing" (read shopping) but those Nasty Gal wedge Boots are beautiful.
Your ring is beautiful and I love the crop pant with the blazer very Chic and the fact that you are wearing flat shoes makes it even cuter.

It's official: you need one of each of those things. Back to school shopping is the best. If only I was going back to school. Does it count if you drive by a school?

Can I use back to school shopping as an excuse if I'm not in school, teaching at school, or have anything in my life to do with school anymore? I hope so...

I love your outfit posts, so I don't think you need to be too worried about having to buy new clothes. But if you are wanting something new go for it.
