Remember that sequin collared dress from ModCloth that I mentioned a few weeks back? Well, I found another way to wear it – layered under a dress so that the darling collar and the sheer sleeves show. I also tossed in a vintage brooch at the neck as a collar clasp for good measure and then added from boots with an edgy zipper detail to toughen things up a bit. I love me a good mix of classic feminine details and harder pieces.

How do you come up with this stuff?! You're like a fashion genius...who is already a genius. Lol. (Congrats on being a Doctor now, by the way).
I love this dress because it is modest and classy. The vintage brooch was the PERFECT touch.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend! xo
I adore the brooch, people don't wear brooches enough, I include myself in that. You look fabulous.

Adding the brooch to this collar was a great idea! It really pulls everything together perfectly.
