The Elizabethan World

Even though classes are officially done and I’m almost at the end of my grading, I sometimes still like to wear a teaching outfit. And then revisit one of the texts I assigned to my students.

skirt: J Crew / dress worn as top: H&M / shoes: Spring / tights: Target / ring: House of Harlow via Shopbop / cuff: F21 / watch: my helpmeet’s

I love how that red skirt flares! And I would really like that book. Like for serious. I started going through my shelves a few days back, to pack up which ones I didn't need anymore and whatnot, and found one that I was using during the beginning of writing my thesis. I'm now rereading it, and I swear, it's making me want to go back for more grad school.

This is such a wonderful look! I am loving this flared red skirt, especially with the pretty blouse and blazer. Perfect teaching look, I can imagine it must feel weird not to be teaching right now!

This is an awesome outfit. I love how you styled the tights under it, so much better than a plain pair!

Oh, what a pretty outfit! The top (actually dress) is very cute. And patterned tights always add interest, in my opinion. This is a winner.

LOL @ Meg I totally got that!!

(I really laughed and my husband was like "wha?" he wouldn't get it)

I'm sure it's tough to switch it off after having a routine for so long...but it's pretty much become who you are, right?

That is a great a line skirt - even thought its totally work appropriate, I can see it easily transitioning into the weekend.
