During our last week in New
Haven the helpmeet and I decided to take a boat tour of the Thimble Islands in the Long Island Sound. It was incredibly fun – I love being on a boat on the
ocean and feeling the wind in my hair and seeing the vastness of the sea.
After the
tour I changed into my fun time shoes (wearing these babies on a boat is just
asking to trip and fall overboard so they stayed in the car while I wore more
sensible flats and a cardigan on the boat) and we had a lunch date in the
Branford area. It’s all part of my “Goodbye Connecticut” series of day tours!

hahaha, I like how you call them "fun time shoes." That's exactly what they are! Because although it's nice to be stylish, it's no fun to be stylish and in pain when you wanna have fun. ;)
Those blue wedges are uber cute, though, and I love how they're colorblocked!
What a lovely day for a cruise around Thimble Islands and for a photo shoot. I haven't done that in a very long time. Thanks for reminding me of the fun things to do around CT!!
The pictures of the cruise are beautiful! I love going out on boats. I love the outfit! The skirt and the shoes are a beautiful color.

Blue, zebra and fab wedges, can't get more fab lunching lady than that! As lovely as boating sounds, I always get a bit sea sick!

Hahaha that was the smartest thing to do! As amazing as those shoes are, I bet they'd get you tripping every step of the way! Still, they're really cute, and that color's very cool! I really liked this outfit :3

AWesome photos! It's always hard saying goodbye to a place you've called home. But day tours sound like a great way to really get the most before you leave!
