Thrifted Loves
Several weeks before I left New Haven I was thrifting and came across this gorgeous pair of heels in a beautiful blue satin. I built this whole outfit around those shoes. I love them ... sadly the fit is not great so (after I wore them out for drinks and got my money’s worth out of them) I donated them to the closet of a friend.

I love Nina shoes and own a few pairs myself...what a great thrift find!! Too bad that the fit wasn't the greatest. At least you got a few wears out of them and went to a friend's closet :)

I hate thrifting shoes - they are the one item when if they don't fit, that is it. there is nothing you can do.

I find so few shoes I like thrifting but also in general because my feet alwaaaaaaays hurt, it's a drag. You look so gorgeous and I sowwie to hear about the disappointment in the blue satin shoes. I adore this necklace, I hope Canada is treating you well.

Really like this outfit! Bummer about the shoes not fitting. Sounds like you were smarter about them than I usually am - I often have ill-fitting shoes sitting in my closet for months or years before I finally give up and pass them on!
oooh those heels ARE really pretty! your friend is pretty lucky to have them to herself now! I love the outfit a whole hell of a lot, too! I can never look as structured and edgy as you do!
